In a room Discussing Experimental Research) is a forum for presenting and
discussing research papers. Topics are chosen from areas of interest to the
systems and architecture faculty and their students.

Why you should come to SPIDER:
- Stay on top of developments in systems research
- Learn to critique research papers
- Learn about the research interests of the faculty
- Interact with faculty outside the classroom
- Meet other graduate students with similar research interests
Why you should present at SPIDER:
- Learn about a research topic in depth
- Practice presentation skills in a casual environment
- The faculty get to see what you're capable of doing

The Spider
The
Spider is a cool plastic toy spider with articulated legs. If you're giving the
talk, you get to play with the Spider for that week.
