You can work in groups of two or three on this assignment. You should create a song, or a video (the video can include a song, but it doesn't have to be a music video --- any video is fine).
This assignment was given in CompSci 100 in many previous semesters.
Write a song (in the spirit of Weird Al Yankovic, see weirdal.com) about some topic(s) studied in CompSci 1 or in the context of computer science in general. You need to provide lyrics and the name of the song to which the lyrics are sung.
You don't need to supply vocals, but they're welcome and encouraged (and can earn more points). You can also create a video or other multimedia kind of presentation if you have an artistic urge to do so.
We'll vote on the top 5 songs, program extra credit points awarded will be
8 points (first place) 5 points 4 points (third place)
All reasonably good songs will earn three points. Extra good songs can earn bonus points (the class and an unbiased panel of judges will decide).
