Welcome to the CompSci 4 Olympic Games! The world begins with a opening ceremony complete with toy soldiers ceremony popping randomly up and down. The first olympic game is swimming. A fish jumps out of the water to give directions and start the race. The object of the player is to move the middle swimmer by pressing the instructed key until one of the swimmers wins the race. Then, the scene changes to the next olympic game, running. Here, a duck prince starts the race, and the player again presses a key to move the middle runner. The next scene change reveals a speed skating race. A penguin tells the racers when to go in this scene, and the player presses another key to move the middle skater. Finally, the scene changes to the grand finale, where all the spectators gather to celebrate the competitors and their hard work. To create this world, we used many methods/concepts that we learned in class such as loops, random numbers, recursions, and events.
