You can work in groups of two or three on this assignment. You should create a song, or a video (the video can include a song, but it doesn't have to be a music video --- any video is fine).
This assignment was given in Spring 2000, Spring 2002, Spring 2004, and Fall 2004.

Write a song (in the spirit of Wierd Al Yankovic, see weirdal.com and yankovic.org) about some topic(s) studied in CPS 100. You need to provide lyrics and the name of the song to which the lyrics are song.
Or, alternatively, for a model consider the PI song by Lucy Kaplansky which you can find a link to here.
You don't need to supply vocals, but they're welcome and encouraged (and can earn more points). You can also create a video or other multimedia kind of presentation if you have an artistic urge to do so.
We'll vote on the top 5 songs, program extra credit points awarded will be
10 points (first place) 7 points 5 points 4 points 4 points (fifth place)
All reasonably good songs will earn three points. Extra good songs can earn bonus points (the class and an unbiased panel of judges will decide).
Otherwise, submit using assignment song from eclipse (browse to your lyrics and other submission stuff).
