The grades will be assigned in the usual fashion, with 100%-90% being an A, 80%-90% being a B, and so on. Borderline grades (e.g., 89%) may get bumped up to the higher letter grade if they show improvement in the later parts of the course.

  • Attendance

Poor attendance will definitely have an impact on your grade. Students are allowed to be absent three times total during the course, excepting exam days. In the event of illness, see the Duke Illness Policy.
