What to turn in:
- For written assignments, you may turn in either handwritten solutions or (preferrably) email your solutions to us. If you plan to email your solutions, please see the comments below about emailing.
- For programming assignments, please email your code and any supporting files needed, along with some examples of how your code runs. If any special instructions are needed for compiling or executing your code, please include this in a readme.txt file.
How to turn it in: Solutions are due by midnight on the due date.
- For handwritten solutions, you are strongly encouraged to turn in your solutions in class. You may slide your solutions under my door if this doesn't work for you or, if you're really in a bind, you can scan in your handwritten solutions and email them in PDF form.
- You should send emailed solutions to the TA and cc the prof. Please put bundle all files in a single directory, and send a compressed (zipped) version of your directory. Include your name as part of the filename. (It will make things unnecessarily complicated for martin if he receives 15 files all named hw1.zip!)
Extra Credit
Martin will make every effort to provide solutions to the homeworks on or near the time we return the graded homeworks. To make things easier for Martin, we would like to cherry pick the most elegant solutions from those turned in and use these to prepare the answer key. If your solution is chosen, you will recieve extra credit. (If you do not wish your solutions to be consdiered for distribution, please email us to indicate your desire to opt out.) There is one important condition on extra credit: To be eligible, your solution must be submitted in an electronic form. We will not consider handwritten solutions (or scanned handwritten solutions) as eligible.
