There will be a final exam at the standard slot on Monday April 29 at 9AM at the usual location.

I will be out of town 4/24-4/27. I would like to schedule demos and exit interviews for 4/28 (Sunday) through 4/30 (Tuesday). Please sign up for 30-minute slots on the exit-demo signup page. Each group with a project should sign up for a 30-minute demo slot. Each individual should also sign up for a 30-minute exit interview slot (use your group's identity to sign up). Each project group should e-mail me a report of 2-4 pages before the demo slot.

CPS 210 is an introductory graduate course in operating systems. The course emphasizes classical operating systems topics: concurrency, facilities for storage, communication, and protection, kernel services and structure, architecture/OS interaction, distributed systems, and practical application of operating system concepts in real operating systems. We also explore the nature of "systems" as an evolving research discipline encompassing all aspects of bridging the gap between applications and hardware. To this end we will study selected research papers, focusing on research goals and methodologies.
