Prerequisites

It is assumed that students are familiar with programming (any language), basic algorithm analysis, and simple linear algebra, probability theory and calculus.

Grading

• five written homework assignments (10%),
• two programming projects (20% each),
• an in-class midterm (25%), and
• a final exam (25%).
