Program Design and Methodology II, aka Data Structures in C++

This is a course that explores theoretical and practical issues in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++. Students should have experience in programming at a level of CPS 006. This includes programming in C++ using classes, vectors, and streams. If you have questions about whether you're prepared appropriately, please ask on the first day of class.

  1. October 17: Extra credit programming assignments are now online, see the assigment web page

  2. September 2: The site http://commerce.shh.com has a free (for students) secure-shell windowing program that is much better than telnet. Choose the non-commercial link for a free download.

  3. August 29: An introduction to basic unix and compiling has been added to the help page, and is directly accessible

  4. August 29: The list of which UTA/TA to send email to for assignment zero has been linked to the assignment zero web page.

  5. August 28: There is a new page describing how to set up windows to work like a unix machine with a shell, emacs, and a library of code.

  6. August 16: Welcome to CPS 100 and Duke. Announcements about assignments and class will be made on this web page and the class news group.
