When the progam loads, the default setting is line loop with width 1. As the
user chooses other options, the display changes, but the line width stays set
to the user's last choice until he changes it again. I felt that the user
should have the option to keep the width he last chose for drawing options
other than the line loop option.
I thought about randomly generating the colors to make the code shorter, but I
liked the fixed combination I came up with, so I decided to keep it. :)
Rather than a triangle strip, I used a triangle fan to display all the edges
of the triangles that make up my polygon. To omit the inner diagonals, I used
the GL_TRIANGLES drawing mode, selectively omitting the inner edges.
The stipple pattern is four randomly chosen hex numbers. I really like the
plaid look it came up with :)
