Lab Policies

A. Labs are due 2 days after the lab period. Saturday and Sunday count as one day combined. That means that someone who is in Tuesday lab must turn in their lab by the end of the day on Thursday. We will not accept late labs.

B. Lab grades will be posted no later than two weeks after the first lab of the week.

C. The TAs that run your lab section will be grading your labs, so any questions regarding grading and criteria go to your TAs.

D. If after consulting with your TA, you feel that your lab was not graded fairly, you may request a regrades through Keith Lam (Head UTA). Your request must include your name, your email address, your lab section, your TAs' names, and the reason why you think that you deserve a better grade.

E. If for some reason you have to miss your lab, you can attend any other section only if the TAs involved are contacted by email and know. This rule means you need permission in advance from both your TA and the TA from the lab you want to attend because this is a pain for grading.

F. On every lab, you must write write a list of collaborators and resources used. Even if you collaborated with no one, they need to say so explicitly. In the first lab, you should learn to leave comments on your webpage for each lab.

e.g.

<!-- Collaborators: Susie Student, Ted TA--> <!-- Resources used: Google, W3C HTML tutorial -->

G. There will be a lab final the last week of class. You are required to go to the lab section for which you are registered.
