In the opening scene, instructions tell the user to either make John go to a costume party with Mimi (she's dressed as Cleopatra) or to a beach party with Alexandra. If the user clicks on Mimi on the right side of the screen, John goes to the costume party. Once there, instructions tell the user to either type 'A' to make John compliment Mimi or 'B' to make him kiss her. If he compliments, they go talk to her friends together, then leave an hour later to go to another party that Mimi heard about. If he kisses, she slaps him, walks away and goes to talk with her friends. An hour later she walks back over to him, forgives him, and they go to another party that Mimi heard about (so both choices lead to the same ending - leaving to go to another party). The scene changes, and it turns out that the "other party" is the beach party that John had the option of going to with Alexandra at the beginning of the story. Alexandra sees John and Mimi together at her party, so she walks over to John and slaps him since he didn't accept her invitation at the beginning of the story to go with her. A billboard then informs the user that John ends up single and lonely in the end. "THE END" then displays. If the user clicks on Alexandra instead of Mimi at the very beginning of the story, then the exact same thing happens only they go to the beach party first (where he either compliments or kisses Alexandra), then to the costume party where Mimi slaps him and the story ends.
