CPS 104, Spring 2001

Computer Organization, Design and Programming

Computer systems organization, machine language and assembly programming, machine representation of data and instructions, computer arithmetic, the CPU and instruction interpretation, basic logic design, memory organization, peripherals and I/O.

Prerequisites: CPS 100 or equivalent, ability to program in C or C++.
