Final Exam Details
- When and where is the final exam?
- Monday, May 2 from 9am-12pm in the regular lecture classroom, LSRC D106
- What can I bring to the final?
- Since the exam is open-book and open-notes (though closed-neighbor),
please bring a pen or pencil, the textbook, and any of your notes from the course.
- No electronic devices
- Is there a review session for the final?
- Yes, led by Zach Marshall, Sunday from 11am-1pm in
the ICC, SS 229.
- What is the format of the exam?
- half is multiple choice
- half is problems similar to first two exams, quizzes, and
weeklies
- a notes sheet will be provided similar to the first two exams
- little less than twice as long as normal exam, should have plenty of
time in the three hour time slot
- What topics are on the exam?
- Chapters 1-11, 13, 16.1, 17-19
- Topics include (partial list)
- Classes and objects
- Inheritance and interfaces
- Arrays, Lists, and Sets
- Loops and Iterators
- Reading from files, parsing strings, and creating objects
- Analizing recursive algorithms
- Anything else :)
