Assignment 7 Obama's Road to the White House

by Anand Varadarajan and Cynthia Chen

Follow Obama's road to the White House and participate in some crucial political decisions underpinning his campaign! Depending on what you choose, the percentage of voters who vote for Obama will increase or decrease. Obama will win the election regardless, but your decisions can dictate whether he wins by a convincing or slim margin.

There are several "scenes" that we'll take you to. In a few of these scenes, you'll have a pivotal role in determining whether more or less voters choose to vote for Obama. One of these scenes is Obama's victory over Hilary Clinton in the Democratic Primaries. You'll have to choose whether Obama should accept the Presidential nomination with grace or bash his defeated opponent.

Another decision you'll have to make for Obama is whether or not he should say hi to Bill Ayers. Depending on what you choose, the percentage of voters favoring Obama will increase or decrease. A few other scenes also require you to participate. For example, at one of Obama's rallies, you'll have to decide whether he prepares a speech or speaks off the cuff. In Obama's debate with Republican John McCain, you'll have to choose whether or not Obama loses his cool. Both of these decisions will impact the number of voters who favor Obama. Have fun!!!
