Assignment 7

This is an interactive story which narrates 4 of the first 9 levels of hell from Dante's Inferno in the Divine Comedy. Dante is our guide and protagonist. In each level the user follows instructions, which may include clicking on something or watching, in order to learn more about that particular circle of hell. To advance to the next level the user must simply click on the next level they wish to go to (2, 3 or 4). The first level is Limbo. It is filled with the great ancient philosophers such as Plato, who were deprived of Christianity. In this level the user clicks on each of the six philosophers/Ancient Greeks. The Second level of hell is the Storm. It is populated by the lustful like Cleopatrat. The lustful are continuously caught in a never-ending storm. Here the user watches their torture. The third level is for the Gluttons. They are guarded by Cerberus the dog. The user clicks on Cerberus to learn why he gaurds these men in a disgusting wasteland. The fourth level is for the Misers. In this level the misers must continously push rocks back and forth as punishment for their materialism in life. The user clicks on one of the rocks to make all of the men push their rocks forward and decry their sad fate. At the end of the fourth level Dante leaves us and the scene fades to black.
