In depth coverage of parallel computer architectures, using a combination of lecture, student led paper discussions, homeworks and projects. There will be very little "busy work" in this class; instead it will focus on longer term projects to provide an in depth experience.
Compsci 550/ECE 552 or equivalent. Operating systems is a big plus, but not strictly required. Please see the instructor if you have any questions about your background.
