The computer science department at Duke aims to excel in education and research. To ensure that our courses fulfill the expectations of experts in both computer science and pedagogy, professors work to engage and encourage students in their study of computer science and the sub-disciplines reflected in our courses.
We also want to reflect the needs and expectations of students in our courses. To do this, students can submit comments anonymously about the computer science courses they are taking (or have taken). These comments will be read only by the Director of Undergraduate Studies and the professor teaching the course. Our goal is to adapt the subject and delivery of our courses to meet student needs while maintaining our high standards.
