Independent Study Project on Breaking the Sound Barrier

Here is a possible independent study project for someone. This is
a Java programming project to build an educational program. The target
program will be aimed at teaching young people about the
physics of sound and the events related to an airplane breaking
the sound barrier. It will involve lots of dynamic graphics and
some game-like programming as the user flies the simulated airplane
at high speeds.
I have been in contact with the web master for General Chuck Yeager
and they have expressed an interest in this type of program to be
run from the Chuck Yeager web site. If the project is successful,
there is a chance that they will want to adopt it for their web site.
It is also posible that the code could be used by museums. I have
the design in mind but it needs some development before it will be
complete.
If you do this project, you will get extensive experience in
Java graphics, game programming, and computer tutoring. Please send
me information about yourself if you might like to do this. I need
to know the relevent courses you have taken and the instructors you
have had. Also let me know about any other relevent experience you
may have had.
