Mathematica has been updated to 10.2. For more information on the new release see

Matlab has been updated to 2015a. For more information on the new release see

Matlab has been updated to 2014b. For more information on the new release see

The department copiers have been upgraded to Sharp MX-M565N copiers. Driver and installation instructions will be available
on the department printer list page.
The CS lab staff has installed 10 new cluster machines. Each machine is a Dell R620,
and contains 2 IntelÂ® XeonÂ® E5-2697 v2 2.70GHz, 30M Cache, 8.0GT/s QPI, Turbo, HT, 1
2C processors for a total of 48 cores. Each machine also has 256GB of RAM. They should make very nice compute machines. 7/17/14
The CS lab staff has patched all of the servers against the heartbleed vulnerability
In addition, all certificates have been replaced as of 4/14/14 at 5:30am. All users should
change their passwords if they have not already done so. 04/14/14
