What's new:

  • Matlab has been updated to 2014b. For more information on the new release see the Mathworks web site Matlab 2014b 10/07/14
  • The department copiers have been upgraded to Sharp MX-M565N copiers. Driver and installation instructions will be available on the department printer list page. 09/10/14
  • The CS lab staff has installed 10 new cluster machines. Each machine is a Dell R620, and contains 2 Intel® Xeon® E5-2697 v2 2.70GHz, 30M Cache, 8.0GT/s QPI, Turbo, HT, 1 2C processors for a total of 48 cores. Each machine also has 256GB of RAM. They should make very nice compute machines. 7/17/14
  • The CS lab staff has patched all of the servers against the heartbleed vulnerability (heartbleed-ssl-vulnerability). In addition, all certificates have been replaced as of 4/14/14 at 5:30am. All users should change their passwords if they have not already done so. 04/14/14
