D243 LSRC Conference Room

Room D243 must be reserved prior to use.

This room is equiped with a ceiling-mounted LCD projector, which displays on an 8-foot wide screen mounted at the front of the classroom. The projector can accept input from both Macintosh and IBM-compatible PC's as well as from a VHS video player. The classroom is equiped with audio speakers to provide full stereo sound during presentations.

A Dell Optiplex is the default input source for the projector; a mouse and keyboard are wired to the front of the classroom for convenient control of the PC. There are also video and audio ports located at the front of the classroom to which a computer can be connected to send output to the projector and speakers. An ethernet port is available to provide access to the internet via DHCP.

The control to switch between the different input sources is located on the front wall next to the screen.
