D231 Sharp MX-M6071 Copier Setup for MacOS X
  • Download the appropriate Sharp MX-M6071 driver for your OS at www.sharpusa.com.
  • Extract the driver files and note the location.
  • Extract the disk image file (.dmg file) and install the drivers.
  • Open System Preferences → Print and Fax and select the plus symbol to add a printer.
  • In the new window, select the IP icon. And configure the printer as it appears below:
  • After you press Add you will be prompted for Options. 
  • Input Trays: Four Trays
    Large Capacity Tray: MX-LC17
    Output Tray Options: Finisher (Large Stacker)
    Punch Module: Not Installed
    Job Separator: Not Installed
    Right Tray: Installed
    Data Security Kit: Not Installed
