CSL: Policies: Course Archives

At the end of each semester, the Lab Staff archives the course directories, keeping them for an indefinite period, but allowing no further modifications. Instructors and TAs are encouraged to clean up their course directories prior to this archiving.

After the end of each semester, the Lab Staff permanently archives data from the courses and cwd partitions. Please take time to perform any maintenance on files in these areas before they are moved to the permanent online archive. This might include removing object files and other cruft, adjusting permissions, etc.

The next archiving will be done on or after Wednesday, May 18. Please reserve a time to perform this needed maintenance!
