Paper Submission

DBTest 2010 invites the submission of original contributions in the area of testing and tuning database management systems, data storage services, and database applications. DBTest is also interested in war stories, practitioner's reports, and vision papers on testing and tuning these systems. Papers should be formatted according to the ACM guidelines and SIGMOD proceedings template available at:

Papers should not be longer than six pages, and should be submitted on-line through DBTest 2010's CMT paper submission site

Preparing the Camera-Ready Version

  1. The general instructions for preparing the camera-ready version for DBTest 2010 are the same as those for the SIGMOD 2010 conference available at: Please note that the page limit for DBTest is 6 pages.
  2. The following Copyright Statement should appear at the bottom first page left column:

  3. Word users: Insert the above copyright statement in your paper (bottom first page left column) in 8 pt. Times New Roman, justified text, with DBTest'10 italicized. Please note that the copyright number for DBTest 2010 (978-1-4503-0190-9 above) is different from the copyright number for SIGMOD 2010.

    Latex users: Follow the instructions at carefully. However, for the copyright part, use the following to get the correct Copyright Statement for DBTest 2010:

  4. ACM is very particular on the inclusion of the ACM Computing Classification categories and terms. Please follow the instructions at closely. Also, follow the instructions carefully to generate ACM-compliant PDFs. Use Type 1 fonts (scalable), not Type 3 (bit-mapped). All fonts must be embedded within the PDF file.
  5. The camera-ready version (in PDF) should be submitted on-line through DBTest 2010's CMT paper submission site. Name your file as name.pdf where name is the lead (first) author's last name. The deadline is May 17, 5PM PDT.
