The Technology & Engineering of the Maltese Falcon

Abstract
Legendary venture capitalist Tom Perkins will present the inaugural inDuke Seminar Series talk on Friday, November 16, 2007, 3:00-5:00p in the Bryan Center Griffith Auditorium. This talk is open to the public and will feature the technology and engineering of the Maltese Falcon, Mr. Perkins' recently completed $134M yacht. The Falcon is one of the world's three largest yachts, and is a marvel of radically new marine design and technological innovation.
There will be a public reception 2:00-3:00p outside the auditorium. Visitor parking is available in the Bryan Center parking deck. There is plenty of seating, so feel free to invite anyone interested.
