Four Duke CS Students Chosen for NSF Fellowships

April 01, 2000

Four students in the Department have been chosen to receive prestigious NSF Fellowship Awards. First-year graduate student Sara Sprenkle and seniors Doug Brown, Jessica Stumpfel, and Rebecca Willett will receive NSF fellowship funding for 2000-2001.

Sara has already proven to be an asset both in her academic standing and in her service to the Department. The Department can only benefit from her continued participation in the program. Though Doug, Jessica, and Rebecca will be leaving Duke this summer, we wish them success at MIT, Cal Tech, and Rice next year.
