Robert Calderbank was named Philip Griffiths Professor of Computer Science.
Vince Conitzer gave a plenary talk at IJCAI'11 for the Computers and Thought Award as well as plenary talks at the New York Computer Science and Economics Day (NYCE-11) and The 11th Bar-Ilan Symposium on Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (BISFAI-11).
Vince Conitzer's new journal, ACM Transactions on Economics and Computation, is now up and running.
Vince Conitzer is program co-chair of AAMAS'12, the world's premier conference in agents and multiagent systems. The conference will be in Valencia, Spain in June 2012. He is also co-chairing the new IJCAI summer school.
Mark Hallen received a PhRMA Foundation graduate fellowship.
Bruce Maggs was named the Pelham Wilder Professor of Computer Science in Trinity College of Arts and Sciences.
Uwe Ohler was promoted to Associate Professor in the Duke Department of Biostatistics & Bioinformatics.
Susan Rodger received her fifth Faculty Award from IBM - this one for $10,000 - to use in integrating Alice into K-12.
