In Memoriam: Professor Gershon Kedem

1946-2012

Gershon Kedem died on Wednesday, June 6, as a result of complications related to a bone marrow transplant. Gershon was born in 1946 and has been a computer science professor at Duke University since 1984. Gershon will be remembered as a scientist and intellectual, and a devoted family man. He is survived by Eve, his wife of forty years; his children, Ronit, Allon, and Danny; and his grandson, Adiel.
