I am a senior PhD student working with Dr. Benjamin Lee in the field of computer architecture. I am broadly interested in mobile devices, their applications and their energy efficiency. By profiling mobile applications and real-world workloads, I analyze and improve current mobile processor designs, such as ARM's BigLittle. I am also interested in specialized hardware for wearable devices, which could benefit from the hardware specializations.
I've had a great experience in Duke. The CS department provides generous resources for graduate students, from spacious offices and free coffee/snacks, to seminar talks and retreats. Such opportunities allow students from different fields to get together and brain-storm on research topics. The Duke campus is quite lovely, especially in spring and autumn. I always enjoy walking by the Duke Chapel when its 50-bell carillon rings in late afternoons.
