Check here to acknowledge that you will attend both weeks in summer 2011 from 9am-4pm and will try to attend the followup workshop in 2012.

Any Diet Restrictions? (if vegetarian, please clarify what types of food you do not eat)
Lodging for Sunday-Friday (5 nights) both weeks is provided for free assuming that you will share a 2-bed hotel room with another teacher. If you are staying at the hotel, they will provide a shuttle so you will not need a parking pass.
I do not need any lodging funds nor a parking pass
I do not need any lodging funds and will be commuting each day so I will need a parking pass.
I am interested in the full lodging funds for two weeks and will share a room with another teacher.
I am interested in half the lodging funds ($500 total for two weeks) and want a single room. I will pay for the other half.

If sharing a room, please answer these questions:
  • If there is another teacher applying for the workshop you would like to room with list their name:
  • Gender: M or F
  • Habits (Night owl, morning person, in the middle, etc):
  • Smoke: yes or no
(Note: not sure hotel will have a smoking room)
You will need to bring your own laptop to the workshop and make sure that Alice runs on it. It should be a laptop and not a small device. It is best to have the same environment that you plan to use in the classroom.
What type of laptop are you bringing?

Please list your reasons for attending the workshop:
  1. What do you hope get out of the workshop?
  2. Explain how you envision fitting Alice into your curriculum.
  3. Do you have any experience with Alice? None is required, but if so list.
  4. Do you have any experience programming? None is required, but if so list.
