Running the Adder Simulation
Following the link at the bottom of this page gets you to Web
pages explaining how to use the University's
Mac Archives.
It all assumes that you bascially know how to use a Mac. If this is not
the case, get some help from a friend who is Mac literate.
In essence it tells you how to download the program from
the central archive to your local machine. There you can
run it and simulate addition on a relay adder.
The
adder
program is in the
CPS 1
folder which is in the
Academic
folder. That means open the
academic
folder, then open the
CPS 1
folder and the run the
adder
program.
Try running the program with the
tutor
option turned on and the
options
set to fast speed. When running with the tutor option on, press the
space bar
to get the next message.
