awb Library
This is a set of I/O routines designed to make Java easier to use. Most
example in the book depend on it. It also contains a number of other
programs used in demos and labs.

These are the example programs embedded in the Text. This is to
give more convenient access to those who wish to execute and/or modify
them. (Soon, I promise!)
Course Notes and Syllabus
At Duke University, the computer science survey course using
Great Ideas in Computer Science is called CPS 1 or
CompSci 1.
There'll be more, but here is the class Web page for Ramm's Spring 2001
edition of CPS 1. Of
course, the Java edition of Great Ideas wasn't available yet, so
a course pack was used. This included drafts of the language
oriented chapters and of the new security chapter. So, it was almost
as good as having the book. All programs were written in Java.
