This is (your call)_________ calling the Orange County Radio Amateurs Monday Evening net. This net meets on the W4UNC 442.150 MHz repeater with a PL tone of 131.8 Hz at 8:30 pm every Monday evening except the 2nd Monday of the month.

The purpose of this net is to help train new amateurs in process of participating in and conducting a directed net. It also serves as a forum for sharing ideas and exchanging information about ham radio operation. Everyone is welcome to check in, and we especially invite junior members and newly licensed amateurs to participate.

We encourage all station to check into this net. We will first go trough check-in, and then will come back to get you comments and question and have a few announcements.

When checking in, please give net control's call first, then let the PTT switch release to listen a moment to prevent doubling, then come back and give you call sign, name, location, indicate if you would be willing to serve as control operator, and if you have a question or a comment. After we have checked everyone in, we will come back to you for your comments.

Now we will accept check-ins by alphabetical order of the first of letter of call suffix (For the very new hams, the term "call suffix" means the letters that follow the number in you call sign.)
