OBJECTIVE

The objective of our work is to provide immunologists with a suite of user-friendly software applications and tools that facilitate mathematical and statistical modeling of individual immune cell function in complex tissue environments. Using these software tools to design and implement computer simulations, the immunologist can develop laboratory experiments and generate new immunological hypotheses that incorporate on-going experimental data in silico before in vitro or in vivo validation.

RESOURCES

This site contains the software you need to set up a simulation and generate the configuration files necessary for running a simulation. We also have a customized version of the ParaView scientific visualization application which you can download and use to view your simulation output. Both of these, as well as the source code used to build the applications, can be obtained from our Software page.

The current release version of the simulation libraries themselves (which you need to install if you're going to run a simulation on your local machine, rather than on a computing cluster, can be obtained from the Mercurial repositories at dulci.org.

To help get you started using both the simulation setup and visualization applications, we are building a library of print and video tutorials. You can access those by navigating to our Tutorials page.
