I work as a research associate in the Department of Computer Science at
Duke University,
under the supervision of Prof. Pankaj Agarwal. Previously
I obtained B.S. (2001) from Tsinghua University,
M.S. (2004) and Ph.D (2006) from Duke.

My research primarily focuses on geometric algorithms and data structures
(such as kinetic geometry, coresets, shape fitting and clustering, geometric approximation algorithms)
as well as their applications into databases and other related fields. I am also involved in an
interdisciplinary project between computer science and ecology at Duke, which aims to develop a fast
forest growth simulator. More details about my work can be found in my publications.
