Academics
I did all my schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School, Chennai. PSBB is, in my opinion and popular opinion, the best school in India.
I then went to college at Sri Sivasubramania Nadar College of Engineering under Anna University, where I earned my Bachelors in Computer Science and Engineering.
I worked as a part-time research trainee at Waran Research Foundation in Chennai, where I was part of the Computational Neuroscience Group and High Performance Computing Group. Work in Neuroscience involved developing simulation models for predicting the neuronal interconnectivity using fMRI while the High Performance Computing effort was targeted to overcome the Von Neumann bottleneck using a novel computing architecture.
I came to Duke in the Fall of 2007 and am in midst of some of the finest minds in the world.
