I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Computer Science at Duke University. I am working under the supervision of Professor Romit Roy Choudhury. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from University Politehnica of Bucharest, Romania, in September 2005.
I joined Duke University in Fall 2006.

Research

Interests

My broad research interests lie in mobile computing, sensor networks, distributed systems and operating systems. More specifically, I am looking into mobile phone localization, opportunistic sensing, context awareness, energy-efficiency, automatic shared-resource configuration and provisioning, and virtualization technologies.
