I have been doing research in two areas:

  1. Social choice theory: eliciting and aggregating agents' preferences.
  2. Games with a purpose:
    • These are fun web games, where playing the game helps solve some problem that is easy for humans but difficult for computers.
    • Examples (written by others): The ESP Game and Peekaboom use players to help label images on the web (both © Carnegie Mellon University)
    • Turing Trade (early beta) (written by me)
