Hello, my friends! Welcome to visit my website!
I'm currently a first-year PhD candidate at the Department of Computer Sciences of Duke University. My research area is networks and distributed systems. I'm now working with Prof. Bruce Maggs on some topics in hybrid infrastructure-based/peer-to-peer content delivery systems.
I received my my Bachelor's degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2009, majoring in Software Engineering. During my undergraudate senior year, I was both working in Digital Art Lab under Dr. Xubo YANG's supervision and in Vision Lab under Prof. Yuncai LIU's supervision.
My research interests include computer networks and artificial intelligence. In the computer vision field, I'm extremely interested in designing robust tracking in unknown environments, objects recognition and human behavior understanding from sensory data. I'm also very interested in distributed intelligence and want to coordinate multiple robots to make decisions and handle tasks under various circumstances. I'm thinking of applying some AI theory to the systems area to attain interesting and exciting results.
