About me:

I am a junior at Duke University dual majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering and Computer Science. I became interested in both because I love to figure out how things work, either by reading about them or by taking them apart and figuring it out myself. I have also always loved building things to accomplish some task, and both of my majors allow me to do just that, albeit in completely different ways.

I grew up in Norfolk, VA, but recently moved to Cincinnati, OH. In my free time I like to build things, play lacrosse, swim, dive, camp in the woods, and just generally be active outside. I also like to surf the internet for random bits of information and break certain things just to see how they work and if I can fix them.

For the past five summers I have been a lifeguard, first at Norfolk Academy in Norfolk for one year, and then at Camargo Country Club for the next four years. I also worked as a diving coach for two years. Currently, I am an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Duke Computer Science department for Program Design and Analysis II (CompSci 100). As a TA, I hold office hours for five hours a week in order to help any of the students that are struggling with a programming assignment, and also grade those assignments.

The classes that I have enjoyed the most in my time at Duke are:

ECE 51  - Microelectronic Devices and Circuits
ECE 156 - Computer Network Architechture
