For my CompSci 108 class at Duke, we designed a program called Picassa that takes an equation from the user and outputs algorithmic artwork, as you can see in the examples below:
For ECE 54 (signals and systems), we learned about signal modification throughout the semester and then used our knowledge to create a short piece of music.
For ECE 51 (microelectronic devices and circuits), our final project needed to transmit data wirelessly. My group decided to make a remote-controlled Nerf gun turret that was controlled by a Wii Nunchuk.
