To analyze an algorithm amortizedly, we need to answer a few question:
- How much does a credit buy you?
- What's our ``credit rule'' for describing where to put credits?
- What's our charge for each operation?
Then we must:
- show that we have sufficient credits to pay for an operation,
- show that, after an operation, we still have sufficient credits to
satisfy our credit rule.
Answer these for the counting example.
