I
am an Associate Researcher with the Scientific Group of the Product Development and Innovation unit of Telefonica Digital in
Barcelona.
My research interests include identity and trust in online social networks, collaborative spam mitigation
and efficient content distribution.
I
received a PhD at the Department
of
Computer Science at Duke
University under the guidance of Prof. Xiaowei
Yang.
Before
transferring to Duke I was a PhD candidate at the Donald
Bren School of
Information and
Computer Sciences at
the University of California,
Irvine.
I
did my undergraduate
studies at the department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at the National
Technical University of Athens. In
September 2002, I went
to San Diego, California, for MS studies at the department of Computer Science and
Engineering
of the University
of
California, San
Diego.
