About me

In May 2009 I received my Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at Duke University under the supervision of Prof. Alexander J. Hartemink.

Currently I am a postdoctoral research fellow in the Division of Genetics, Department of Medicine, at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, working with Prof. Martha Bulyk.

My general research interests are in computational biology and statistical learning, with a focus on applying statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze regulatory DNA motifs in eukaryotic genomes.
