My
Family.
My
wife is Jane Anderson. She was born in 1953. All her grandparents immigrated to
the US from Sweden in the early 1900s. She grew up in Leominster, MA. In the
spring of 1973, during my final term at Tufts, I took a course in winter
survival where I met Jane. In 1986, Jane and I got
married. Jane worked for many years in early child education and has an MS in
that area.
Jane
and I have two children: Katie, born in 1989, is blond and Emmy, born in 1994,
is red haired. Both are fun, always curious, artistic and intense. These kids
are one of the most amazing parts of my life -- they are always changing. They
both attend the Carolina Friend’s School,
which is a private school with an alternative educational program run by the
Quakers.
As
a family, we also enjoy traveling and outdoor activities such as skiing,
swimming, hiking, bicycling, canoeing and kayaking.
