Directions from I-40
Take I-40 to 15-501 North towards Durham and Duke. When 15-501 splits, take the fork to Duke University. From 15-501, turn right onto Highway 751. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Erwin Road. Turn right on LaSalle St. See below about parking.
Directions from I-85
Take I-85 to 15-501 South (in the North West corner of Durham). Take the exit to Moreene Road. Turn left towards Duke. Turn left onto Erwin Road. Turn right on LaSalle St. See instructions below for parking.
There is a football game on the same day, against Notre Dame!!!! That means it may be difficult to park for free. Advise you carpool. Duke will tape up and block off the parking on the street to force people to go into a lot and pay. My guess is it will be $10 per car.
To walk to registration: Walk along LaSalle St and turn at the pedestrian crosswalk that goes to the small parking lot and cuts through the parking lot. Then walk down the stairs. Go in the LSRC building at the circle and we are right there, near the large auditorium LSRC B101. Registration and Breakfast will be near B101. We are providing breakfast (likely bagels and donuts).
The map below shows parking on the street if that is allowed. BUT SINCE IT IS A FOOTBALL GAME DAY unlikely you will be able to park on the street. Most likely you will be directed into the big parking lot there.
Reasonable price. A 10 minute walk to the LSRC.
Cheaper, Near the intersection of I-40 and 15-501.
Off of 15-501, between I-40 and Duke, 10 minute drive.
Near the intersection of I-40 and 15-501.
Very expensive, greater than $200 per night. About a 20 minute walk to the LSRC building.
Breakfast will be bagels, breakfast sandwiches with egg, donuts and fruit from Grub.
Lunch will be Subway sandwiches, chips and snacks.
Hotdogs, mac-n-cheese, veggie options. 5:00pm, whenever the contest ends.
But for those of you who are here longer, there are many good restaurants around.
Duke has been a site for the ICPC or ACM Mid-Atlantic Regional Contest since 1996, over 20 years!
