Directions from I-40
Take I-40 to 15-501 North towards Durham and Duke. When 15-501 splits, take the fork to Duke University. From 15-501, turn right onto Highway 751. Turn left at the first stoplight onto Erwin Road. Turn right on LaSalle St. See below about parking.
Directions from I-85
Take I-85 to 15-501 South (in the North West corner of Durham). Take the exit to Moreene Road. Turn left towards Duke. Turn left onto Erwin Road. Turn right on LaSalle St. See instructions below for parking.
Remember: You CANNOT park in the gated lot but can park on the street on LASSALLE Street or CIRCUIT Drive anywhere it says "CIRCUIT" or "LASALLE" permit. Again, do not park in a spot that has a unique number that says it is reserved 24 hours. The parking on Saturday is free and does not require a permit.
NOTE: Although it is not a football game day, sometimes beyond our control Duke will decide to have another special event and block all the onstreet parking. In that case the only choice to park is in one of the gated lots and they will charge you to park there (probably $10).
Reasonable price. A 10 minute walk to the LSRC.
Cheaper, Near the intersection of I-40 and 15-501.
Off of 15-501, between I-40 and Duke, 10 minute drive.
Near the intersection of I-40 and 15-501.
Very expensive, greater than $200 per night. About a 20 minute walk to the LSRC building.
Breakfast will likely be Bagels and donuts.
Lunch will likely be sandwiches.
A buffet dinner will be held following the contest -- approximately 5:00pm. The menu may likely be of mexican food.
But for those of you who are here longer, there are many good restaraunts around.
