Hexagonal Metamorphic Robots @ Texas A_M web link Page about metamorphic (reconfigurable) robots at the Parasol site for Texas A_M. The pages constructed by undergraduates Mary Brooks and Beth Tsai (linked at the top of this page) give a quick introduction to some of the group's past work. The PI is Nancy Amato. It appears that there have been no new publications since 2005. group page Texas A_M
Intelligent Motion Surfaces @ USC web link This page doesn't seem to be linked from the main PRL site, so I've included it here. The focus is just as the title says, intelligent motion surfaces, and the research seemed to look at MEMS (micro-electrical mechanical systems) as a hardware platform. The only listed publications are pretty old, so this line of research may be defunct here. group page USC
