I can and have listened to all kinds of music. My favorite genres are, however, ambient, electronic, western classical and hindustani classical.

Mike Oldfield still remains to be my all time favorite composer/player.

I have been a big fan of hindustani classsical since my mother first enrolled in a music school several years ago. I get my daily dose of Hindustani Classical Music from MusicIndiaOnline . My favorite Ragas are MiyaMalhar and Desh.

I have recently taken a keen interest in fusion music with Bombay Dub Orchestra topping the charts.

I read everything for fun from magazines like Scientific American and National Geographic's Adventure to memoirs and historical novels. My all time favorite is City of Joy by Dominique Lapierre.
