I'm currently a graduate student, and my advisor Prof.
Bruce Randall
Donald is a faculty member of the Computer Science Department
at Duke University. I am
also affiliated with the Computer Science
Department at Dartmouth College through
my co-advisor, Prof. Chris
Bailey-Kellogg. I'm a Dartmouth graduate student doing
research at Duke.
I'm interested in solving problems in biochemistry by using
algorithms with provable guarantees. My current research is
focused on protein structure determination using nuclear
magnetic resonance data. I use ideas related to
configuration space and computational geometry to obtain
provably complete ensembles of protein structures.
Additional interests include protein flexibility, entropy,
denatured structures, mass spectroscopy, and X-ray
crystallography.
