Like all romantic movies, someone loves someone else, here, Mr. Baxter loves Miss Kubelik. However, unlike lots of romantic movies, Mr. Baxter doesn’t try to own Miss Kubelik. He just wants to see her happy even if it costs him his job or losing Miss Kubelik. Actually, I think, this behaviour may be the only expected and accepted consequence of of loving someone. Sometimes, we think that we love someone, but basically, our behaviour shows that we only love ourselves!

However, if you are alone and you are not happy with this, then you definitely need to change yourself. You just need to think about things that you can change about yourself. This is something that can make you adorable and this is a way that makes people love you. Everybody knows at least one bad habit or behaviour about himself or herself, which, I think, could be a perfect point to start. So, if you’re seeking a friend to love you, make yourself more lovable for yourself.

Today, when you hear that someone is “in love”, it presumably means a temporal, out of control, meaningless, and unreasonable feeling that might cause a lot of problems for everybody involved. Hence, in our cruel, soulless, and modern world, no psychological pain is “worse than the total agony of being in love”.
